AC replacement in Phoenix
A 3-ton 16 SEER2 heat pump, installed, from $149 a month. The total is $8,900 and it is printed right here, along with what the rebates take off.
After hours — the line is answered and the truck rolls for $149 dispatch. Regular scheduling reopens Monday at 7:00 AM.

The price, before anyone visits your house
Replacement quotes in this trade are theater — three tiers on an iPad, priced to whatever the estimator thinks the neighborhood pays. We publish instead. A 3-ton 16 SEER2 Rheem or Trane heat pump, installed with a new pad, whip, disconnect, and a start-up report you keep, runs from $8,900. The variable-speed 4-ton — the right machine for a big open plan — from $13,400.
"From" means the base configuration: a like-for-like swap with sound ductwork and adequate electrical. Attic air-handler swaps in tight 1970s attics, line-set replacement, or a panel that needs work move the number, and we tell you by how much before anything is ordered.
Sized from a load calculation, not the old nameplate
Most Phoenix systems were sized by copying whatever died. That repeats every mistake of 1998 forward — and the 1998 mistake was usually oversizing, which in a monsoon means a unit that blasts the air cold, never runs long enough to wring the humidity out, and shuts off. We run a Manual J on the actual house: orientation, glazing, attic insulation as it exists now, duct location. Sometimes it says smaller than what you had. That is the load calculation working.
The replacement guide on this site walks through the whole decision — sizing, SEER2, heat pump against gas, single-stage against variable — with the arithmetic shown. Read it before any estimator from anywhere sits down at your table.

Rebates, filed by us
APS pays up to $625 on a qualifying heat pump and SRP up to $1,125 on 17+ SEER2 variable-speed equipment, with duct-sealing and thermostat money on top. The federal 25C credit adds up to $2,000 at tax time. We fill in the paperwork and the AHRI certificate before we leave — the rebate you have to chase yourself is a rebate designed not to be paid.

“Three quotes for a replacement and Solstice was the only one that measured the house instead of reading the old sticker. Came out a half ton smaller and $2,100 cheaper than the big-name quote. They filed the SRP rebate before the crew left the driveway.”
